The Lemon law applies the same to vehicles that are both owned and leased. The difference is the remedy. If we’re successful with your Lemon Law claim, if you own the car you’re going to be refunded all the monies that you paid out or you could get a replacement vehicle. If you lease the car and we’re successful then the same thing actually you’re going to get all the monies you paid out on a lease plus you will be let out of the lease. So you get the monies you paid out, the down payment, the monthly payments and the lease will essentially be terminated. So you won’t be responsible for the car.
