Products Liability: What the Lemon Law Does

The Lemon Law protects consumers who purchase new vehicles. So basically so that they don’t get ripped off if the vehicle is unrepairable. The vehicle if it has a defect which substantially impairs the use, the value or the safety of the vehicle then it is considered a lemon.

Basically the dealer will get three chances to repair a defect. If they cannot do it then we can pursue a Lemon Law claim and try to get a replacement vehicle or all the monies you paid out refunded. And when I say a defect I’m talking about problems with the brakes that are unrepairable or the transmission or the motor, something that’s substantial and makes it unsafe to drive the vehicle.
